Freehand color birdby ~hatefulss

The client wanted something like a humming bird with long flowing tails and a lot of different colors. So this is what I came up with. Captain Carl.

First of all, I'd like to state that tattoo art is not something anyone can master easily, it requires many years of practice and all (the canvas is alive!) so you don't have many chances to practice, mess up and retry (the things we usually go through when practicing normal art)!
When I first saw this I went: WOW.
A humming bird with those vibrant colors and shades is just beautiful! I love the flow of the tail and everything. The blending of the colors is well done and it looks definitely cool!
The only thing, though, is that (in my opinion) the eye looks a bit human-like. Maybe it was meant to be that way (then I apologize) but it's a bit scary and it would look more real if it were round and black (like how they are... right?)
Apart from that, everything else is exquisite and you did a great job on it!
